When she and her daughter found a tiny 1.7lb Chihuahua puppy just sitting next to her Jeep one night, so small and helpless, glowing in the moonlight. They looked at her and realized the puppy needed them as much as they needed her. They named her after the moon, Luna. This new puppy and her daughter inspired her to form her business, built on Amanda’s love of travel. Her passion for travel led her to find the joy of sharing that passion with others. It was an honest living that she could do from home. It allowed her to tend to her health issues and her daughter, but still be helpful to society. That hope and determination for the future, and grit for surviving the rough days to come, fuel everything we do here at Luna & Co. We lead with faith, hope, and love, in all things. With a newfound confidence, she stepped forward into the world again after 15 years on disability. Operating her own business and finally providing a life for her daughter, doing something she loved, and sharing her love of travel and cultural exploration with others. She found she lived for the trips she designed for people. These clients became good friends and family.
